Hey Everyone! It’s that time again and its a brand new year! Hopefully 2022 will be kinder to everyone so lets’ make a New Years Resolution to join us at The Roane County Amateur Radio Club and participate! We Need You, so be sure to make plans to attend the next Roane County Amateur Radio Club meeting on Thursday January 13th at 7:00 PM in The Rockwood Community Center, 710 North Chamberlain Ave, Rockwood, TN. 37854. Be sure to bring a friend and introduce HAM radio to them.

At the December meeting we voted on officers. Let’s welcome Tom Bryers KO4IBO as our 2022 president. Cliff Segar KD4GT as our vice president, Ted Wallace KX4XV as our secretary and Jim White K4APY as our 2022 Treasurer

Don’t forget that memberships in RCARC run January through December so we are now accepting new memberships and renewals for the year. IF you are not sure of your membership status, just send Jim K4APY an e-mail to k4apy (at) yahoo (dot) com to verify that. You can also request an updated roster at the same address via e-mail.

We look forward to seeing everyone next Thursday 1/13/22 @ 7:00 pm in The Rockwood Community Center. Stay safe and warm!

Hello Everyone!! I hope everyone is doing well. The December 2021 meeting of the Roane County Amateur Radio Club will be held December 9 ^th at The Rockwood Community Center, 710 North Chamberlain Ave, Rockwood, TN at 6:00 PM . RCARC will provide a spiral cut ham and Members are asked to bring a covered dish for the dinner. We have a list started on the facebook group. Please note the earlier time. This is to setup food and socialize before the dinner / meeting and Election. If you can’t make it by 6, just come when you can. If your not on the club group email, you need to sign up at https://www.canderson.in/ke4rx/email/ . The RCARC December meeting will be on December 9th 2021 and it is our Christmas pot luck dinner and Election of officers for 2022. Last chance to run for an office so if your a full member for 1 year in good standing let me know and we can put you on the ballot!! The dinner will be a pot luck dinner and we will begin setting up and socializing at 6:00 PM at the Rockwood Community Center. RCARC will provide a ham that Phil KE4LSH is going to prepare for us. Members are asked to bring a covered dish / desert. If you want to reply with what you will be bringing to k4apy (at) yahoo (dot) com , that will help us not have 10 pots of beans or mashed potatoes

so let’s try to have a variety if possible. We will begin to eat about 6:45ish and hold a short meeting and election for officers sometime before 8:00 pm. Our Christmas meetings / dinners in the past have always had good food and good fellowship, so come one down and join us. Visitors welcome anytime, so be sure to join us. We will e-mail a link to members on the email list for the Google Meet meeting when it is available and post it on the Facebook Page too, so be prepared to join in.
