Information

The Roane County Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) group works very closely with the Roane County Emergency Office of Emergency Services and Homeland Security and several other government and emergency organizations. The ARES group provides support to government agencies by means of communications. They also help non-profit organizations such as the American Red Cross by providing communications between shelters, emergency operations centers, and on-site staging areas, when needed.

Roane County ARES is under the direction of Bill Farnham, KI4FZT.
